2026 fall Vermont Compost Group Order is happening now

Order Deadline: Monday, November 30th

We're organizing a group buy of Vermont Compost to help growers save on freight and get the best possible pricing. Vermont Compost anticipates a price increase after the first of the year, so ordering now will lock in fall 2026 pre-buy pricing for the spring 2027 growing season.

Our best pricing comes with a full tractor-trailer load of 22 pallets, which allows us to spread freight costs across the largest quantity of product. Smaller orders are possible, but the freight cost per pallet will be higher if we don't fill the truck.

Here are the details for 2026:

  • Order Deadline:  Monday, November 30, 2026
  • Estimated Ship Date: First week of January (after holiday freight rates drop)
  • Payment: Upon receival in January or in December if you want a 2026 tax write off
  • Available for pick up at the store or on your next regularly scheduled delivery route

See pricing below. This chart shows our EXPECTED price range, depending on the total volume ordered.
